The ILUG was fortunate to be invited en masse to attend the Intersocs '98 Conference in NUI Galway November '98. 1999 During February, an ILUG InstallFest was held in WIT on Saturday 27th. Here's the evidence. Linux Awareness in Ireland Day '99 ( or LAID as we like to call it) was organised by members of the Cork Linux Users' Group. 2000 The first LinuxWorld event in Ireland was hosted in Newman House; LinuxWorld 2000 has some details. 2001 The second ILUG AGM took place on the 23rd of June 2001.
