 :: Community :: Events :: ILUG AGM 2001

The ILUG will hold an AGM on the 23rd of June 2001 in The Hamilton Building, Trinity College Dublin.
John Looney announced it in this email to the ILUG a while back:

 Hey all....this is to announce that there will be an ILUG AGM in Trinity
 College Dublin, on the 23rd of June. We have to announce this 10 working
 days before the AGM, so this is cutting it close :)

 Details are a little sketchy as yet, though Thomas Bridge is promising an
 array of interesting talks for the day, as well as some bird-of-a-feather
 meetings; hopefully the weather will be nice, and they can be held outside
 on the grass, like last year.

 We'll also be electing a new committee for this incoming year, and maybe
 discussing WTF to do about LinuxWorld, and discussing an "ILUG away"
 weekend in the near future...and more stuff, that'll be announced later.
 Either way, keep the 23rd free.

 As usual, nothing will start too early, so those that don't do mornings,
 and those that have to get early trains up can make it on time. It'd be
 nice to see could we organise an internet cafe or something for a games
 night afterwards, or maybe we could book out a room in a pub, so we could
 have some peace for the evening. Idea's welcome (mail to cabal@linux.ie,
 the committee email address).
