The management of the ILUG was discussed. The aims of the ILUG were debated and decided upon at this meeting. Interest in working on
the public relations side of the ILUG was articulated and brought forth the pro@linux.ie closed list.

This meeting developed the points discussed in the first further - it also instigated the registration of the linux.ie domain name.
The lack of moderation of the [skynet hosted] mailing list was discussed, along with the website and how best both
of them might be used. Special interest groups and the form of the meetings were also discussed.

This was the first ILUG meeting, where we nominated and accepted board members, discussed what the "Irish Linux Users' Group" would be all about and, of course, increasing the awareness of linux. The possibilities of a distribution specific to use in Ireland were pondered on.
