Hi All,
Someone sent me this query, and I post it to the list(s) in the hope
that someone can help. I'm afraid I have to assume that both client
and server in this case are Win-dow!s boxes (sorry)...
<quote>
I am looking for a solution for the following:
Client needs to be able to download files from one central site to
multiple remote sites.
The client also needs to be able to upload files from the remote sites
to the central site.
The central site and the remote sites have modems and have dial-up
connections between
them.
The file transfer must be able to be scheduled and kicked off manually
It is preferable that no tsr is required to run on the remote sites.
</quote>
Ideally, I'd like to send on a solution that could impress the
'Client' above as to the advantages of open-source... FSF/gnu ? Might
get them interested in moving 'up' to Linux, or at least get them
thinking...
Thanks for your time.
Ian Swainson
