[CLUG] LAID - Linux Demo

[CLUG] LAID - Linux Demo

Donnchadh Ó Donnabháin d_odonnabhain at vistech.ie
Thu Oct 28 17:24:58 IST 1999

Have we got the hardware for the demo?
What sound card, network card, graphics card will we
be using? We probably need to do a few dry runs this weekend.
We also need to find out the network configuration
required to put this on the UCC network. Will the machine
have 2 n/w card - 1 for UCC net & 1 for the NT box?
Now that I think of it making a copy of the disk image of
a fully configured system (in case of emergency) might
not be a bad idea.

Also what's the status on information sheets/leaflets
to hand out to business-people at LAID? Linux is
getting a lot of publicity lately so we need to let
businesses know where to go/ what to do next once they
are interested in Linux.
