Specialising in satellite communications, our customer base spans
Europe, Asia, Australia, and soon will cover North America. Some of our
broadband solutions include: Bandwith Provision / Large Internet
Connections, Global Networks, LAN Interconnection, Multicasting, News
Feeds, Data & Video Streaming, Free-to-air Digital Television Channels,
Interactive Television Channels, Private Digital TV & Audio Channels and
Package Delivery to name only a few.
The job, Systems Engineer:
The ideal candidate must be self motivated, with a flair for new
technology. Applicants should be people who want to develop on the
bleeding edge of technology, with no prior examples to be guided by.
Applicants should be willing to travel both nationally and
internationally. A full (clean) driving license would be a distinct
advantage! Applicants must have very good analytical and problem
solving skills, and an ability to handle stress.
Applicants must have proven industry experience in the following areas:
TCP/IP, SNMP, NNTP, Apache & Squid, Routing, Networking & Network
Planning, Linux, MS Windows, Perl, Sh, C an advantage, MPEG2, and
Protocol Encapsulation. Knowledge of communication and satellite
broadcasting (DVB/MPEG) would constitute an advantage.
Ideally the candidate would have (though not a pre-requisite) experience
with DVB, DES Encryption, Cisco IOS, Real-Networks Servers, SGI Irix,
and satellite technology.
Training will be provided in the area of satellite technology and
application there of.
