[CLUG] HELP! ethernet IP address?

Just tried something. If you post to ILUG with HTML e-mail it gets rejected
but for some reason you can post HTML mail to CLUG. Whoever runs the list
please fix this problem!!

Has anyone got any idea what IP address I should give a Linux box for home
networking?
I'm stuck half way through installing Mandrake and I don't know the IP
number!! :-(
