anyone used the mySQL c api, if so is there any way to dynamically specify
the variable that can be passed to the database in an update/select, as it
only seems to accept a char array, and return the results as character.
I know that i could generate a char array and convert back from integer to
decimal based on the properties of the field, but this is time consuming,
and diffuclt and was wondering was there an easier way.
