Well, CTRL-ALT-DEL always works unless you disabled it. then the usual
boot into single user mode at the lilo prompt:
LILO: linux single
or
LILO: linux 1
where "linux" is the kernel you want to use..
you should get to a prompt then, or you might get asked for the root
password again :(
