Are Microsoft's failings, and dodgy ISPs, the only thing we have to talk
about on this list?
Can I suggest a topic: Linux as a network monitoring tool; what applications
are out there? I'd like to set up a box on our Internet hub that I can VNC
in to to see how our ISP, our routers and our leased line are performing.
If it could packet sniff, send alerts and log when port scans/ping
probes/other evil ha><or stuff was going on, all the better.
Anybody got any ideas?
