Yes, and if you have a NT box to hand you could have used server manager to 
manipulate the shares.

Always, always hit control and let the display warm up, particularly relevant 
if you are using a console switch. If you don't care to much about excess usage,
you could run X on the console, which will then trap the three finger salute, 
while retaining the ability to have somebody reboot the machine using 
Ctrl-Alt-F1, Ctrl-Alt-Del.

The real stupid reboot trick is to type the reboot command, meaning to reboot 
your personal computer, in the wrong window....
