Thanks for the warning. Unfortunately this is exactly what their
Marketing people believe users want. I think they're completely wrong,
and if the product was basically their own instead of being public (or
Linus's), I wouldn't worry. But as you say, it has the potential to
damage Linux quite seriously -- as would the proposed MS-Linux -- by
making novice users think that this is all there is, just like most
people think that MS-Windows is the only available platform.
