[CLUG] Corel Linux

[CLUG] Corel Linux

Well, I chanced installing Corel just for fun, it failed on install twice
stopping at 13% the first time and 2% after that (I tried the second install
with a different corel linux cd). I then tried it on another machine and it
failed to detect my serial mouse, at that stage I just gave up.

On a side note. After setting up yet another machine yesterday I chanced
RH6.1 for the first time (seeing as I had the CD lying around). I have to
say that it installed like a dream, no need for manual XF86Setup or
anything, network config was a doddle also.

IMHO new users should go with RH, its tried and trusted and always
improving, the corel install has a habit of crashing from what I have seen
and from what I have heard from other people.

    Regards,
        John.
