Ta. I don't have lftp. I have ncftp but it's a character-cell program
(curses-based?) so I'm not sure it would be any good running from
a cron script, would it?

Does expect work with ftp? I haven't tried under Linux but I used it
(or something called the same) on another platform and it just bombed.
