Famous for its interface hall of (f|sh)ame, it's a plain-english resource from
people that are apparently "in the know" (although you wouldn't guess it from
their website), that gives you a good idea of what's hot and what's definitely
not.
Ultimately (my word of the month) though, it's more common sense than anything
else, and isn't that what GUI is all about? Rules are for programmers. Use the
