I think someone here was asking for a sugestions for a laptop to run linux
on
I just installed finished installing Caldera 2.4 on a Dell Latitude CPx and
it worked like a dream
It detected the Video, Sound, PCMCIA and the Xircom 56K / 10-100 combo card
straight off while booting off the DVD Rom
It even picked everything up from my DHCP server
So for this one it gets my two thumbs up :-)
On another note -> I was asking a while back about a dial on demand proxy
server using squid. Well I have it working now so I will put togeather a
mini howto for the CLUG projects page.
Nu next question is how do I set the box up to act as a RAS server for the
NT network it would be a great help if it also supported ring back.
O.K. That is enough of my drunken rambelings for the night I'm off to get
some sleep
