Can anyone tell me exactly how to solve the following error:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: search
        at knsearchtest.main(Compiled Code)

Details:
1. Im trying to interface a c program (search) with a java program
(knsearchtest).
2. search is contained in the file libsearch.so (its a shared library)
3. I _have_ read the docs :-)

The main question I have is where do I put the library so Java can find it?

If you're replying, could you cc me offlist as Im a digester and I need the
answer fast!!! (so come on already <grin>)

thanks guys,
tom.
