right ronan. didnt mean to tick you off
but the press release says what it does clearly and i quote
"Revenue from the sale of telephony services will be shared between the two companies, and will help Interoute expand the reach of its telephony services."
and "The Cork based company has signed a deal with telecoms firm Interoute to resell Interoute's Spirit home telephony products under the Genesis brand"
now my confusion stemmed from the fact that genesis have a registered office in dublin. (or so the companies office says) no im not against cork jobs.
hell ive lived in dublin for long enough to realise what a dump it is compared to cork.
And i will be sceptical where telcos are concerned. Wouldnt you be sceptical too if you saw a new telco launching on the back of an as yet unheard of telco??
Too many bad smellind deals around at the moment to take everything at face value.
I am not going to keep this up..
Flame wars are a damn waste of bandwith. open for that pint if you like. would love to hear your angle on things.
But in case you think i am being utterly negative...I want that bandwidth...but not at any price whether in choice, cost or flexibility.
Hell, i dont even have a clubcard..cos of the dodgy privacy practises employed.
One has to draw a line somewhere. Now, best of wishs with the venture. I do hope it is a success. And If you see any brown envelopes at work, bring one with you
We'll just assume drinks are on you, if you bring one. :-)
Suppose though, things could have been worse...might only have NT support staff capabale of answereing driver queries related to NT, while the marketing was being handled by a large falling irish telco.
Here ends the flame from me
btw, gis a job! (please...)
