This problem has been happening to me for months and months. IOL have
finally admitted they have a problem in the Cork area so hopefully
something will done about it. Basically the (IOL Gold) service is
totally unusable for me either for work or games because of all the
timeouts.

Oceanfree works perfectly for me and always has though it costs a lot
more what with the 1p a minute and all.
