I'll let the RMS stuff slide for a bit [Going out later, not enough time to
plan an essay of RMS's American slant on copyright.]

What I will take a gander at is Adam's RIP stuff. Here's the thing I allways
wondered, why did noone fight that in the European Supreme court and have it
shot down as an invasion of privacy and restrictive to business practices.

If Ireland were to ever follow the UK lead on this [And I'm not sure if they
would.], would we the savy computer using public be willing to fight them in
Europe?
And when I say fight, I mean fight. Lawyers & money and all that...
