My laptop (Dell Platitude Cpt ) on which I had a previous fully functional
Debian testing distro of linux got a few packages screweed up so I
re-installed with Debian Stable. I have a 3com Megahertz pcmcia lan/modem. I
installed all the right modules for the 3c575 (and cb_enabler and all the others)
and they modprobed okay...and do so everytime I boot.
The only problem is that when try using ifconfig eth0 <blah> up it says there
is no such device as eth0

any ideas?

Also, could anyone burn a Debian testing (woody) image onto a CD for me, cos
I'm too poor to fork out for the download.

thanks,
