Check google.com to see if the 7880 is supported. There might be a

Red Hat still uses ext2, and Mandrake at least gives you a choice of
using Reiserfs or Ext2. I wouldn't use Reiser for a RAID installation,
simply because I have vague memories of bugs reported. Those bugs could
have been squashed a long time ago, if you try it, don't put anything
critical on those disks!
I'll be downloading Mandrake 8 this weekend, and have RH 7.1 if anyone
wants it.. (Thanks Ski for those CDs!)
