lot and lots of promise on the 7880 a few parameters to pass at boot time, that kind of stuff..old 2.0.x kernel series mostly (hey if its old hardware, old **compact** kernel will do) Also found a source for a second p200pro + passvive heatsink for only stg25

IBMs implementation of their scsi card featuring this chip generates quite a few not so nice responses in the newsgroups. aparently its the raid features that threw everything out. And who said no one ever got fired for buying big blue?
