Hi gang ( great gag adam, fair duce to yeah boy!!) even if you are a south sider.
 nice
 to see you got a sense of humour.   


On a serious note i discovered a library of routines and small apps for reading
and sendign text messages from a siemens mobile phone.(or any gsm it says) 
what i want to know is is it possible to poll the device, push the data into
mysql and a cgi script to dynamically update a browser window with the details?
 uses im thinking of are polls etc etc or updating reps daily milage figures
in real time with a browser as the interface.  No java knoweledge, some perl,
php (getting better) and cgi (sfa apparently) i know i can do what i want in
c using the mysql libraies and a text interface using ncurses.  any pointers
as to where to look? is it server side push?  multiple document parts in one
document?  any help mucho aprreciado!
