Could be worse: a number of "unlimited use" ISPs in the UK cancelled
accounts of users they categorised as "abnormal".  They don't seem to
comprehend that there are a great many uses for quasi-permanent internet
connections.  Upgrading between releases of Debian is one that comes to
mind; a few changes to sources.list, two commands and a long weekend and
you're done.  Unless you sneak your box into work... which is of course
WRONG and TANTAMOUNT to theft!

This thing under my arm?  Uh... my lunch, yeah.  I *am* quite hungry, now
you ask.

Let's hope O'Brien buys Eircom and does something about DSL; he's been
making noises that something in that line needs to happen.
