[CLUG] Odd boot failure on new install of RH6.2

[CLUG] Odd boot failure on new install of RH6.2

Peter Flynn pflynn at imbolc.ucc.ie
Thu Feb 15 14:49:59 GMT 2001

A colleague just installed RH 6.2, having defragged her 20Gb Windows
installation and used Partition Magic to truncate it and create a new
partition for Linux. All went well, but on reboot, it displays:

	LI

and hangs. Obviously it is picking up the start of LILO, correctly,
but then something is going wrong. Any clues?
