What you want is Definately an nVidia anyhow(as long as you are not a CAD/GL
fan), and after that all you have to select is the flavour of GeForce II you
are willing to pay for.

You could go for an OEM MX 32mb 4xAGP for £130 from PC Superstore in Cork
(This card will play all current games very respectably as long as yer Proc
is not a vegtable-slicer)
or
You could go for a fuly-blown, (hopefully not!) pixel-whackin' GTSII Ultra
64mb 250mhz Monster (preferably Asus/Creative with excellent quality memory)
with 333mhz memory bus for £500 from PC Pro or PC Superstore will order it
for ya.
(This card will play all games as fast as yer main memory can handle data!
This graphics card is ahead of current system architecture (slow FSB's of
100 + 133), so there is a certain waste of power of the card - it is not
used to its full potential.....yet...)

Personally, I would get the standard GTSII 64Mb card for about £250.
Perfect.

If a group of people get together and would like to order a few of these in
bulk, then I am sure DMI whole-salers in Carragline in Cork will help you.

Was just up in Hollywood video in Ballincollig at lunchtime, they have
quite a good selection of video cards, including the Gefore2MX which I
splashed out on on Saturday and is well worth the 150 odd quid it cost..
