ah.. the current directory isn't in your path (and shouldn't be!) do
/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd restart
same for named.
I found a tool for configuring named a long time ago. can't remember
what it's called, but there's a README in /etc/named/ that suggests
looking at "nsc".. You might have it already installed.
