[CLUG] Mandrake 8.0

[CLUG] Mandrake 8.0

Speaking of DVDs. I got Suse 7.1 Pro. It came with 7 CDs and 1 DVD. The DVD
had the contents of the 7 CDs on it.
Great package with plenty of manuals for only £55 ex VAT in Micromail. You
can even choose to boot into kernel 2.4 or 2.2.18 on boot up.
Installed perfectly on my IBM T20 laptop with DVD, though the sound is a
little problemmatic due to the power saving features on the laptop.

We're ordering an IBM rack mount server preloaded with Caldera OpenLinux
eServer 2.3. Has anyone out there used Caldera's eServer? I'm hoping its
ideal for (easy) remote administration.

Thanks,

Larkin
