[CLUG] Progeny Debian

[CLUG] Progeny Debian

I've got the beta test copies of Progeny Debian. There are about 70MB
of updates that should be installed with this.

Progeny is potato + xfree4 + some other woody packages. You can have
progeny/potato/woody entries in your sources.list if you want.

Have a look at http://www.progeny.com/

I'd reccomend woody above progeny, but to be honest, woody won't be
ready until the spring. Upgrades from progeny to woody should be no
problem. ( there's a planned progeny woody release for then anyhoo
). Progeny is a nice improvement over potato though.

It's also possible to upgrade to progeny from potato/storm linux and
probably any other Debian based distribution.

Anyway, the point is I can burn a couple of copies and circulate them
if people are interest.

Anybody interested?

Cheers,
hjw
