[CLUG] Help!

[CLUG] Help!

Craig Ledbetter craigled at indigo.ie

Hello all!

I am still trying to remotely login from windoz to a Linux box. I try telnet
to no avail. What else should I try? My first goal is to just run a terminal
session over Ethernet. Then, find a cheap was of running xwin off of the
Linux box, yet from the windoz side.
Telnet with either the valid netbios name, or the ip address, with
xOrfbserver running on Linux does not do the trick.
The Linux box sees the shared windows directories, and windows sees the
shared folders.
I just want to take my next step so that I can remotely execute commands
from my windoz machine.

Thank you for any help!

Craig Ledbetter
