I've been asked to advise someone on where to look for a career move.
The programmer in question has a CS degree and five years with major
telecomms companies doing C and Java development on Unix and Windows
(billing systems, cellphone systems, etc), now looking for more senior
position in Ireland.
Not a great time to be changing job, but if there's anything happening
in programming, is it in Cork? Limerick? Dublin? And is there anything
a candidate should keep quiet about?
