How many toys have you enabled? Do you have previews on, backgrounds
on.. etc.. ? That obviously slows things down. 
It's not a dog, but it doesn't "feel" as solid as Explorer usually is.
(of course, browse a machine that's been turned off in MS Explorer and
the whole OS locks up but that's a story for another time!)
