[CLUG] 7.1 vs 7.2

[CLUG] 7.1 vs 7.2

I have a few more general questions, mainly regarding Redhat:

1) Could somebody outline in a few lines what the main differences are
between the 7.1 and the 7.2 distribution. I have 7.1 running and it seems to
run fine. What would be the reasons for an upgrade?

2) Kernel: I run 2.2 right now. Should I upgrade to 2.4? What changes can I
expect?

3) I want to start shifting my productive "work" onto my linux platform. One
thing I do a lot is photo restoration, and I am sure I can do that even
better and faster under Linux than Windows. Any suggestions as to what
program? Should I stick with GIMP or something else? What about scanner
support (need TWAIN support for SCSI scanner)

4) When is the next CLUG meeting and where?

Cheers,

Marcus

P.S. Joseph, I cannot speak for the other head here, but I do hope that my
two hands know about each other :-)
