Load up konqueror in kde, nautilaus in gnome, mc in the shell.. If you mean to
view DOS partitions then you need to edit "/etc/fstab" if it isn't setup for
you (I'd be surprised with Mdk8.2 if it wasn't)
Or if it's network neighbourhood stuff, look for docs on "Lisa" which I got
running ages ago but can't remember how. That'll enable you to see shares on
other boxes through Konqueror and works reasonably well. There's also Komba
(I think) that'll mount remote shares on your local filesystem which means
normal Unix apps can access them.
