According to ESAT, it will be available on the quaker road exchange on 29th.
November
(ESAT promise : avail late june, no wait, early august, no wait, mid
september, no wait, early october, no wait, late october, no wait, early
november, no wait................) It could be late January before they get
their shit together.
Eircom claim to have gone live as of November 4th, and are officially
launching on 18th November. Although they are a bunch of feckers, they have
had a consisitent date on this for over 3 months.
ADSL is only available subject to a line survey. If you have a shitty line,
forget it.
If you pick the Eircom ADSL option with a static IP, then it is going to
cost you as much as a 256k leased line (almost). 256k down / 128k up is ?107
+ vat per month, plus ?160+vat installation.
Regards,
James
