The error message in xbStyle.js says:
"Your browser does not support DOM1, Internet Explorer 4 or
Navigator 4. You will not be able to use xbStyle"
xbStyle is supposed to implement cross-browser collapsing menus,
which Konqueror doesn't support.
Konqueror is ghastly, anyway. In a laudable effort to be purist,
it supports virtually nothing except the plainest HTML. I'm sure
they get a deep moral kick out of this, but it's unusable as a
Web browser these days. I can't imagine why it's still around.
Having said that, this Rugby page is grossly invalid, I'm afraid,
obviously done by a "designer" who has not taken care to produce
valid HTML. I'd just ignore it and pick another sport. If they can't
be bothered to make their Web site usable, they're not worth looking
at anyway.
The IRFU carefully provide *NO* email address for contact, only a
phone and fax number, so they cannot be contacted, and there is no
address for a Webmaster. I suppose that is hardly surprising, seeing
as they obviously contracted the whole thing out, which means they
couldn't be bothered taking responsibility for it.
I'm sure Vision Consulting stuck to their brief. I'm equally sure
the brief made no mention of producing valid HTML. Their Web site
at least contains an email address, so I'm CCing this to them in
the vain hope that someone will care enough to reply.
