[CLUG] Cork LUG meet??

[CLUG] Cork LUG meet??

Hi everyone, I'm a new member to the list, having only just moved to Cork. I've been using linux as a sole OS on my home system for about 2 yrs, having found my Compaq P3 didn't like M$, and promptly fell over with a GP error in the end, so I cleaned out the hard disk, and put Mandrake on it. I'm now a Slack user, I like doing things the hard way. Anyway, when I left the UK, the computer had to go, so I am now looking for a new-ish system. Anything from a P2 upwards will do, at the right price. I post this from the webworkhouse at the mo.
Also, one other thing; Anyone planning a get together of the Cork LUG? The last LUG I was in met every fortnight at a local college for about 2 hrs. I'm willing to use my living room as a meeting point if you wish (I live in Blackrock).

Thanks

Simon
