Subject: [ILUG] Red Hat 8.0 - Irish mirrors
Date: Mon, 30 Sep 2002 15:05:24 +0100
From: Dave Wilson <dave.wilson at heanet.ie>
To: ilug at linux.ie

Red Hat 8.0 has just been released (15:00 UTC+1) and there are two
official Irish mirrors:

HEAnet:
http://ftp.heanet.ie/mirrors/ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/8.0/
  ftp://ftp.heanet.ie/mirrors/ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/8.0/

Esat:
http://ftp.esat.net/mirrors/ftp.redhat.com/redhat/linux/8.0/
  ftp://ftp.esat.net/mirrors/ftp.redhat.com/redhat/linux/8.0/

Both have gigabit connectivity and both can be reached with rsync.
ftp.heanet.ie can be reached over IPv6. For anyone not connected to one
network or the other (ftp.esat.net for Esat, IOL and Ocean customers,
ftp.heanet.ie for colleges and universities), both have excellent
connectivity to the INEX. :-)

All the best,
Dave Rynne & Dave Wilson
