> Has anyone gone for UTV's broadband offer?
>Yes. I got a call from an Eircom engineer today to arrange an appointment
for next Tuesday. An hour later he rang back to say that head office had
told him to rearrange it for the 13th, because DSL "needs to be provisioned
from Dublin". Which of course it does. On the phone. Assholes.
Makes me relish the thought of dropping my payment to Eircom to one line
rental, that's all I can say. I look forward to the day I can take the other
line and shove it firmly up an Eircom middle manager's hole.
Ah, that's better. I'm finished now. Normal programming will resume shortly.
Our apologies for the service interruption.
