[CLUG] SSH Public Key authentication

[CLUG] SSH Public Key authentication

Hi all,
I have setup SSH Public Key authentication but when using ssh some users
request a pass word. I discovered that all the users the are requesting
pass words have UID < 1000. So for example, when I change the UID of a
user that works without password authentication from say 5001 to 501
then that user will request a password. there seems to be some threshold
on th UID.
Any ideas ?
