After ruling out the hardware we were getting to that. ;-)
That's one of the reasons I asked if /dev/st0 was auto generated or put 
in by hand. If it is missing SCSI support then I'm not very impressed 
that the system puts non-applicable entries in the device tree 
regardless of if the system currently has the capability to support 
such entries or not. That's just bloody lazy.

And yes Kudzu is awful, it's probably the first thing on my list to hit 
with chkconfig the moment I login to a new box.
