You have an established brand, you buy a smaller company, and then you 
decide to go stupid on people.

Remember when Borland "changed it's identity" to Inprise? It took even 
deeper losses and the ouster of the idiot CEO to get them to change it 
back, and not once did I hear a Borland customer ever refer to the 
company as Inprise.
