I've noticed this recent Microsoft announcement
http://www.microsoft.com/ireland/gaeilge/
I've also noticed that the Gaelige GNU/Linux project seems to have
stalled - last post is in the year 2000, and the KDE Gaelige project
is at around 50 to 60 per cent still.
Has the effort to translate Gnome or KDE died off - or are there still
efforts going on? I suspect from the headlines that i've seen, that
Microsoft have stolen the headlines on this one, which is a sad day
for FOSS advocates - one would have thought that we could have had an
all Irish Linux desktop by now?
