[CLUG] Recent Additions and SVN server access information.

Hi All, I am cross posting here intentionally in order to make any members
of CLUG not aware of WIPT and the existance of the mail list aware, this
will be the last posting about WIPT to the CLUG, thank you all for you
patience.

Project Aims
-------------
To develop a simple yet powerful web fronted to IP tables so that they can
be administered easily by novice users with special emphais on usablility.

SVN Access Information:
-----------------------
In order to maintain some sort of control on this project, a SVN
(Subversion) server has been provided. This SVN server sits at the end of
my DSL line at the moment, but I will move it in the next wee while to a
machine with better internet connectivity. To access the SVN server, you
will need the Subversion client installed. You can obtain this from
http://subversion.tigris.org/ . If you don't have access or you don't use
Linux as your development platform, you can use tortise svn whihc is also
available from tigris.org.

At the moment, the SVN server is anonymous, so commits do not log who
actually commited the information. If you intend on working on WIPT,
please create your own branch in the branches "folder".

I am just as new to SVN as you are, so please bear with me if I get the
concepts wrong :)

To checkout WIPT at any stage you can issue the following command;

svn checkout http://projects.druid-web.com/repos/WIPT/trunk

or a branch can be checked out with the following

svn checkout http://projects.druid-web.com/repos/WIPT/branches/BRANCHNAME
(replace BRANCHNAME)

Documentation UML & Classes
----------------------------
In order to make the project documentation as easy as possible, I have
used Umbrello UML software to generate some class information. Now I don't
have a clue as to UML but I did find this handy as it autogenerated my
class file and its waiting there for me to populate it now.

If you wish to view my current branch you can do so by visiting the trac
project pajest located at;

http://projects.druid-web.com/projects/browser/WIPT/branches/aj.mckee/

Maillist, Trac, WIKI & Bug tracking
-----------------------------------
The project Maillist is kindly provided by Mr. Adam Beecher. Subscription
information is available here;

http://lists.beecher.net/mailman/listinfo/wipt

The project will be using TRAC for the forseeable future to keep trac :)
of things and provide a wiki.

This can be access by visiting;

http://projects.druid-web.com/

When submitting tickets (Okay the ticket thing needs components added)
please do not assign the ticket to anyone unless you intend to take
ownership for that ticket.

Current Needs/Requirements
---------------------------
Below are a list of what I gather are our current needs, If we have
already obtained some area of experties and I don't know about it sorry,

* Agreement and brief documentation on the processes involved (login,
addrule, delete rules etc).
* Agreement on database schema.
* Agreement on components etc
* IPTables expert knowledge required.
* Graphics design look and feel stuff (very important)
