I was going to comment on this myself, but as you've brought it up...
It's just a website whose maintainer justifiably feels it's not worth the
effort any more. That's no reason not to (a) put the effort in now, and /
or (b) volunteer to maintain the website at it's current location.
If you need a hand with anything, I'll be more than happy to help out when
I'm in the country.
