I have half a dozen Adaptec cards in machines but I dunno if any of them
are 2000s -- I'd have to open the boxes and take the cards out to look,
as there doesn't seem to be anything in the dmesg of the one I checked.

I've never had a problem with RH or FC failing to recognise one of
Adaptec's cards, but that may just be good luck...
