It's fully updated, but the last 2-3 updates have been on unrelated
stuff like galeon.

Possibly.
But I just did an rpm -e autofs and rebooted, and autorun still
comes up. So it's not anything to do with autofs at all.
What else is called autorun that might be doing this?
