[CLUG] Portable broadband modems

[CLUG] Portable broadband modems

Do any of these go-anywhere broadband dongles work with Linux systems?
I see three on the market:

Corp	Cost	Rate	Incitements etc.	Cap	After
--------------------------------------------------------------
O2	€39-79 €30/mth	(€15 1st 3 mths)	10Gb	???
Voda	€39/89 €30/mth	(€15 1st 3 mths)	???	???
Three	€49	€20/mth	(no promotional)	10Gb	5¢/Mb
Three	€99	€25/mth	(€5/day, €10/wk)	10Gb	49¢/Mb

Given the appalling history of ignorance of the Internet among cellphone
providers in the past, do any of them actually know what they are doing?
