Peter,
Yes everything is the same with the Hallowed Northside Goodness as it is
with the black stuff imported by the Dublin Occupying Forces. It was when
it was just poured like a lager and put up on the bar for me to pay there
and then, with no breathing or settling time, I couldnt bring myself to look
at yer man in the eye. Honestly I think the full 380V of the Cattle prod
with a spare battery is called for here. But they will probably cry human
rights abuse or some such daft nonsense! This is why I fly Ryanair, to get
me back every few weeks to where the air is pure, the cry is righteous and
the Murphys is pulled properly! I used to enjoy a Skull from Donnellys too,
but alas another proper Bakery not using flour improver has gone to the
wall. Couldnt beat a cheese and tomato sandwich on two thick slices with a
pint in a certain establishment not far from the GPO.
Oh and don't get the stuff in cans, its all the way from Luton!!!
I Digress....
Well check the logs for lines beginning with (EEE) and that should give you
a good clue each time.
I know the u/g from 8.04 didnt go smoothly for me so I forced the vesa
driver so I could get a desktop.
Would that be possible in your case?
Silly Question, to get around the wireless networking problem could you use
a long cat5 lead to get network connectivity?
There is an option too to download and burn the image and use that as a
rescue disk.
No easy strolling ahead for you it seems young man :-)
Mick.
